In 2001, a head-on car collision changed everything. Doctors gave him the verdict: you will never perform at the same level again. Find a new career. Most people stop there. Andrew redirected every ounce of that drive into the science and practice of developing leaders. During that season, he connected with the John Maxwell organization and joined the EQUIP mentoring program. Maxwell's principles strengthened him to elevate his leadership and gave precise language and proven structure to what he had earned through decades of doing. What looked like the end became the sharpest season of growth in his life. In 2007, navigating a demanding season of transition, Andrew hired a coach. That decision gave him clarity on the season he was in, direction on where he was going, and a sharper picture of who he was becoming through the pressure. He came through it. And he built Clarent Leadership with one clear purpose: to give every leader he works with the same thing — a proven path forward when the weight of leading feels heavier than one person should carry alone. The leaders who work with Andrew arrive carrying too much. They are leaving results on the table. They leave transformed — with tangible outcomes that show up Monday morning. Managers take ownership. Teams that once talked past each other now move with clarity and shared purpose. Leaders step out of the day-to-day and into the strategic. Andrew is based in Montrose, Colorado, and works with leaders and organizations across the United States and internationally. Outside of his work with leaders, he enjoys golf, fishing, tennis, and writing.
